This SketchUp project involved using a screen capture of a familiar building as a reference to digitally model it. I chose one of the on-campus dining locations at Western Kentucky University, The Den. The purpose of this project was to develop and refine digital modeling skills that are essential for architectural renovation work. By recreating an existing structure, the exercise strengthened my ability to observe architectural details, understand spatial relationships, and accurately translate real-world conditions into a precise digital model.
